Stream Deck Actions

Six actions live in the TipLink category in the Stream Deck app. Drag one onto a key and its settings open on the right.

Every Key Is Live

Keys are not fire-and-forget buttons. TipLink pushes state changes to the plugin as they happen, so:

  • A Platform Connection key turns green the moment Twitch reconnects, even if that happened in the TipLink window.
  • A Toggle Alert key dims when something else disables that alert - another alert's Toggle Alert action, for instance.
  • A View Variable key counts up as tips arrive.

Keys update at most ten times a second. A variable moving faster than that is drawn less often, but the final value always lands.

Settings Common to Every Action

Every panel ends with the same connection row and Advanced connection settings block. Those are global - set them on one key and they apply to all of them. See Connecting to TipLink.

Everything above that row belongs to that key alone.

Choosing a Target

The dropdowns pull their lists live from TipLink. If a list is empty or reads Not connected, the plugin cannot reach TipLink - fix that first, then click the refresh arrow beside the dropdown.

Once a key has resolved its target's name, it remembers it. That is why a Trigger Alert key can still name its alert above Offline rather than going blank when TipLink is closed, and why a Platform Connection key still shows the right logo.
