Offline Testing

You can manually trigger a test alert using a configuration of your choice using the built-in utility.

This is especially helpful for making sure your Alerts perform as expected before receiving real events, like donations, which may be awkward or troublesome to test in real-time with real events.

Sending a Test Event

1. Click the "Gear" icon in the sidebar to access your Settings page.
2. Click the heading "Send a Test Event".
3. Select your desired Platform and Event Type from the respective dropdown menu provided.
4. Enter an Amount (if you don't need one for your event e.g. New Follower, then enter zero - "0").
5. Click "Send Test Event".
6. Make sure the new event appears in the Events page by clicking the "Message" icon in the sidebar.

If nothing appears, refer back to Steps 3 through 5 and ensure you've configured everything correctly.
